Muziek Wordt Geserveerd is a concept created by Ely Geluk to try to generously bring food and music together, for an all-embracing experience. Up to now, each edition has taken place at a different location as it travels around the city.

The spatial composition for this edition was designed for this location (de Kleine Kas at Weelde) by me and Ely Geluk.

The curtain jewellery are made by me.

Fragile and light strings together with sculptural metal wires, natural stones and glass beads.

Together it forms a dreamy and light setting that floats in the space.

I started making small objects, which I named 'wall jewelry', in 2021. I see them as small scale experiments with shape, material and composition. Not particularly made for wearing on the body but also not for hiding them away in a box or book. As they might catch light and some movement when hanging in space I decided to call them muurjuwelen. To me, these objects show my attachment to my living space.

These creations served as inspiration for the curtain jewels in the installation shown above.
